We mourn the loss of our beloved colleague, Kerry Morris, who was an integral and valued partner for 16 years and contributed greatly to the growth and success of Shoreline Partners. We acknowledge his profound impact on our work and on each of us personally. He will be greatly missed.

 

During his 25 year career, Mr. Morris served as CFO for a number of companies in San Diego County.  He managed M&A Consulting and Corporate Finance practices at several CPA firms before starting his own business providing interim CFO and Controller services to high growth companies. After selling his business to a large CPA firm, Mr. Morris joined Shoreline Partners in 2004.

 

Mr. Morris was a past member of the Institute of Management Accountants and former Adjunct Professor of Finance & Accounting at the University of California at San Diego. He served on several non-profit boards as director and advisor, including the Association for Corporate Growth and the Entrepreneurial Management Center at San Diego State University. Mr. Morris held series 62, 63, and 79 securities licenses, a master's degree in business administration and was certified in mergers and acquisitions through the Alliance of M&A Advisors and Loyola University Chicago.
