Since 1992, Shoreline Partners, LLC, has represented owners of privately held companies of all sizes in sale, acquisition and financing transactions—all opportunities for business owners where high levels of creativity, marketing, communication and negotiating skills are critical. 

In 2005, Shoreline Partners created a licensed broker-dealer that became ShorelineAmbrose Advisors, LLC (“SAA”). Through SAA, the firm’s M&A professionals have passed rigorous exams to qualify for securities licenses including Series 79 Investment Banking. This licensing ensures that the firm’s clients receive the highest level of quality and professionalism.

Today, Shoreline Partners’ primary office is in San Diego, California, and we are recognized as a leading investment banking and M&A advisory firm throughout the Western U.S.

Growth & Leadership

Tim Malott, a former CPA and national bank president with a long history of leadership in San Diego, joined Phil Currie as a partner in 1994. 

Joshua Donnelly joined the team in 2017 as a Managing Director and became a Partner in 2020. John Reynolds also joined the team as a Managing Director in 2020 and became a Partner in 2023. These experienced professionals continue to lead Shoreline Partners today.
