Total amount of items expensed for book purposes that could have been capitalized. Examples include purchased equipment or research and development costs for new products.

Total of all other expenses that would be considered above market rate or non-essential to operating the business. Examples include excess compensation or other benefits paid to employees or above market rent paid to the owners of the building.
