Mr. Potter is a Managing Director with Shoreline. He is responsible for advising clients in sale, acquisition and financing transactions. Since joining the firm in 2006, he has led engagements across a variety of industries.

Mr. Potter has over ten years experience in corporate finance and management. Before joining Shoreline, he served in a senior finance position with BAE Systems, a leading aerospace and defense company, where his responsibilities included financial reporting and analysis, strategic planning and corporate development.

Prior to joining BAE, Mr. Potter spent several years in an operations management role for a San Diego-based nonprofit organization supporting youth athletics. With the company initially experiencing significant losses and serious liquidity concerns, Mr. Potter was able to help guide the company to a sustainable positive cash flow position.

Mr. Potter earned a Bachelors degree in Finance and a Masters degree in Accountancy from San Diego State University, where he was voted "Finance Student of the Year" by Phi Kappa Phi Honorary Society. He, his wife and two sons reside in the San Pasqual Valley in northern San Diego County.
