Mr. Currie is widely recognized as an expert in selling privately held companies and is a sought-after lecturer and speaker throughout the western U.S. He speaks and is quoted on the latest techniques and opportunities for building business value and selling privately held companies. He has authored and published numerous articles on mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Currie is known for his creative problem solving skills and ability to overcome negotiation obstacles. He was awarded “National Dealmaker of the Year” in a competition sponsored by the Association for Corporate Growth.
Mr. Currie earned a BS degree in Finance from the University of Montana and graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School. He has served on numerous corporate, educational and civic Boards and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Jackie Robinson YMCA where he is actively involved in an inner city youth mentoring program. He is also a member of the Downtown San Diego Rotary Club. He and his wife reside in La Jolla.
